Chris Jericho has given the winter of his pro wrestling career a new lease of life by getting himself in his best shape for decades.
The 51-year-old underwent a radical body transformation earlier this year where he lost dozens of pounds and now he’s more ripped than he’s been in years.
In fact, he’s so shredded that some fans claimed he had ab implants.
“Haha that is the stupidest f****** thing I’ve ever heard," he tweeted in response, adding: "Keep reaching haters."
Jericho has been in the wrestling business since 1990 and his long and storied career is not over yet.
As an integral part of AEW’s launch in 2019, Jericho served as the company’s first world champion and has recently formed the Jericho Appreciation Society with Daniel Garcia, 2.0 and Jake Hager.
However, as well as living the busy life as a professional wrestler, Jericho is also the lead singer of the rock band Fozzy and that lifestyle appeared to weigh on the wrestling legend’s body.
AEW owner Tony Khan says Jericho had a little health scare around the turn of the year and used his small time off to get back in shape.

“Jericho looks better than he ever has in AEW," he said. "Better than he did when we started. Better than he did when he was a World champion.
“He had a little health scare and came back, and he came back looking better than ever.
"I think he was out for a little bit, getting healthy. I think for Chris, like this is not only the best he’s ever looked but when we’ve seen him in the ring, he looked very sharp.
“I think it took him a few minutes to get his footing back against Santana & Ortiz, but you could see this is to me physically, probably the best Chris has looked.”
Jericho was a main eventer in WWE from 1999 until his final match to date with the company in 2018.
